While Echo and Marie's creator went on vacation to meet friends from Prodigy, the two characters themselves remained dead. At last Raksasha gave in to pressure from those who loved his "innocent bystander" victims. He resurrected Wyrm, making it possible for those marked by Wyrm also to be returned to life, after eight full days had passed.

But Echo's strength was slow to return after the lengthy death-sleep, and her heart was heavy ... for the souls of three who are dear to her - Marie, Regicide and Kayion - are still held captive by Wyrm.
